ものづくり研究会が提供する夏休み恒例の「木のおもちゃづくり講座」、今年は「風見鶏」を作ります。
沖縄研修へ行った際に竹富島で見た、旅人の安全を願う風見鶏にヒントを得ています。
One of our popular short courses is 'Wooden Toy Making' for families during summer holiday. This year the participants will make a wooden weathervane. The idea came to us when we visited Okinawa in March and saw some wooden weathervanes which was used to wish the safe journey of their loved ones.

小学生の親子が簡単に作れるように材料や構造に工夫を凝らすのは、当日スタッフを務める学生たち。この日はそれぞれが試作した風見鶏を手に、扇風機の前でプレゼンテーションをしていました。
「木のおもちゃづくり」は８月７日に行われます。お申し込みは、森づくりサポートセンターまでメールでどうぞ。
It is our students role to make a sample weathervane so that small children and their parents can easily make one. The material and the structure need to be well considered. This day they demonstrated each of their weathervanes in front of an electric fan.
The wooden toy making takes place on 7th August. Send an application to Forest Support Centre.
