森林文化アカデミーのカリキュラムとは別に行っているもので、将来グリーンウッドワークの技術をつかってものづくりの講座などを運営したい学生が自主的に参加しています。
We have been having green woodwork lessons every two weeks since this spring. This is not in the original curriculum of Craft and Furniture Making Dept., but an activity of Japan Green Woodwork Association. The students who wish to run green woodwork courses in the future attend the lesson.

Today we followed every step of Spoon Making programme in Iwate in May to learn some techiniques. How nice it is to turn fresh wood in the open air!
