ものづくり研究会の教官・山口と卒業したての桑村恭彦君が、日本有数の自然学校、富士山麓の「ホールアース自然学校」で「こだわりの木の器づくり」のプログラムを実施してきました。
このプログラム、桑村君が２年間のアカデミーでの学習をひとつの講座にまとめたもので、電動の旋盤と人力のろくろを使って木の器を作るというもの。
結果は大好評だったようで、ホールアースの講座を紹介するブログに掲載していただいています。
桑村君本人からもここに結果報告をしてもらおうと思っていますが、せっかくなのでホールアースのブログもご覧いただきましょう。
ちなみに、著者の「大武ウォーリー」氏は、森林文化アカデミーのカリスマ卒業生で、ホールアース自然学校で活躍する大武圭介さんです。
Hiroshi Yamaguchi, the lecturer, and the graduate Yasuhiko Kuwamura went to the Whole Earth Nature School to run a bowl turning programme. The Whole Earth is one of the leading nature schools in Japan.
This programme is a compilation of two-years of Yasuhiko's study at the Academy. Participants made a mortar and pestle using electric lathe and pole lathe.
The result was very successful and we have received a detail report (Japanese only) from Keisuke Ootake, the coordinator at the Whole Earth.
