I
am demonstrating green woodwork at a big furniture show in Takayama,
one of the biggest production centre in Japan, this week. The event is
organized by the association of furniture companies in Takayama. They
exhibit their new range of furniture every year. This year they invite
me for stool-making demo with their workers.
It
is interesting that the most advanced furniture industry find green
woodwork as an important technique, especially for the education of
their workers. The photos show the two-days stool making course which I
organized for them last year.
